Beiya Yang-  Metal Maker

Relationships between people are complex and adaptable. Certain individuals will create specific feelings for some while others will culture entirely different emotions… But these complex emotions are not easily expressed with words. My work is inspired by the necessity to navigate these complicated relations despite that they are constantly in flux.

I create my own work by changing the shape of everyday objects and extracting their concepts. I choose to use simple and frequent graphics through different combinations of shape，in older to transform them in to their own unique form of expression.
